First off, hi everyone! It's my first post - I'm a TL forum virgin.

I finally decided on purchasing an '04 TL. I went shopping for one yesterday and was lucky enough to find what I was looking for available - an ABP/Quartz Auto with Nav.

I'm seriously contemplating tossing the A-Spec package onto it. I'd love to see some photos of it on an '04 ABP TL. Anyone?

I take delivery tomorrow! Woohoo!

Just curious, how much did you end up paying for it?

I'll wind up paying sticker for the car. In Southern California Blue TL's with Nav are VERY hard to find (Black, Silver or Anthracite are easiest). They would have probably given me $500 off if I'd have gone for one of the more popular colors, but even that's doubtful because of lack of supply of NAV cars.

I called 8 dealers in my area that I was willing to drive to. 5 had ZERO in stock, 1 had one black/black (nice combo but I didn't want black), 1 had 2 - green/tan (not my thing) and white/tan (also not my thing), 1 had the one I now own. So, there's little to no leverage for negotiating. Why give me a discount when someone else walking in 30 minutes later will pay full price?

Too bad I don't live on the east coast. I see they're getting some good deals. Oh well. The price you pay for living in sunny CA.

They are willing to give me a hefty deal on accessories though, so at least they're being fair about supply and demand in that regard.
