Have you added Lojack to 2004 TL?

Hi,

I am having Lojack [www.lojack.com] put onto my TL and am interested in comments of others who have it on and have you ever had to use it?

Lojack has an interesting add on [early warning recovery system] in which they will notify you via pager, cell phone, beeper, etc. if the car is moved w/o your permission :'( . Since I love gizmo's I decided to try that option and I also wonder if anyone has it on their TL and has it ever been used?

Thanks.

I had a similar system installed when I purchased a 2003 SL500 for my sister. I can monitor the car's location. If she drives above a certain speed it will automatically notify me via cell phone. If she sneaks off and goes to a party and parks her car I can lock the vehicles ignition. But if it does get stolen I can track the vehicle. Lojack is not avaliable in my area yet.

You may find some old threads talking about LoJack... if you like to see more discussion, please go to Garage and search Lojack...

It's the good device and help you to protect your love, but you know many places in states don't have Lojack covered...

Friend of mine has LoJack in his car, in NYC, he continues to do monthly test. My cell is one of his earning receiver. Most of time we got the warning under 30 seconds. Unbelievable.

Locking ignition and stuff is cool. I'd rather get a new car through insurance instead of finding mind .

Lo-Jack with Early Warning

I had it installed at my dealer.. If you purchase it from Lo-Jack it was like 995 or something like that.. I got it under $900.

I got LoJack installed with the early warning system. No one ever explained to me though, what the little light on the key chain means. Can someone explain this to me?

Thanks.
