Just want to know if anyone has ever seen this car (in person). From the looks of it and from what I have heard it's one of the hottest cars out. 0 60 times like 4.7. How do they look in person though...how much...how do you get one?

in person or pics?if in person, you'd have to talk to someone in japan or who visited japan. i guess infiniti is bringing over the skyline in the near future. something about it being a G coupe bodystyle though. do a search on google for pics and info on it.

Seen plenty of Skylines. Seen a few GT-Rs too.That is what the G35 is called in Japan. You do mean the Skyline GT-R. Yes, they are awesome in person, the R-34 is truly stunning and aggresive. I am sure I would have one if they had sold it here from the factory. The R 33 is less agressive but good looking too. THe R32 is the lightest and smallest but incredible as well.

There's a few that I see around the LA area. I guess with Motorex being here, there's more around here. Sweet looking but very expensive.

The beauty of the GT-R with the RB26DETT isn't the stock performance (although it's impressive), it's the potential of the car when properly modded, much like the Mark IV Supra. Folks, we're talking about a 2.6 liter straight six that's capable of 600+ hp on stock internals...with AWD. Can you say "hook-up"?

I have a video of a modded R33 doing 0-186 mph (0-300 km/hr) in 13.7 seconds, even with the driver flubbing the 2-3 shift. It's brutal.

Nissan is planning on bringing the new skyline GT-R over as a 2007 model..and might be selling it under the Infiniti name...

I was next to one at a red light the other day near LAX. The guy was asian, and he just kept staring at me like "hey, look at me, I'm driving on the right side of the car...check me out, I'm cooler than you" I finally just shook my head at the schmuck and laughed. What the hell is with these guys who are so into impressing other guys? I don't understand the motive.

Not sure that it is about impressing others...the car is a fantastic car the likes of which we don't have here in the U.S. It is not like he is driving an Escalade on 24" spinners, I think those guys are trying to impress others. Skylines are freakin cool cars that are rare and hard to get, so I think enthusiasts rather than posers tend to get them.

BTW, if you ever want to see one in person, go to your local drift day or drift competition and you will likely see at least a few

Like 1sick, I've seen a few at autoshows and my favorite is the r-34 GTR! If you want one look up motorex and hit them up for one. They have a couple used for 78k+
