Hey folks,

searched a bit, but couldnt find much on this, surprisingly. Has anyone done a successfully headligiht swap with from the 07-08 to the type-s ones?

I keep hearing about the corner lights being different sizes. So i'm wondering has anyone converted their corner lights when doing it, are is everyone jamming and locking the bulb into the headlamp?

I think Everyone Buys the Correct Bulb Connectors off Ebay and switch them out with the Base Model.

Yes it has been done a few times. The turn signals would need to be swapped for the correct ones the type S uses (1157 IIRC) also, depending on the year of your car you may also need to swap out the ballast, the newer headlights require slim ballasts from 06-08.

I got silvateg to do a set for my typeS headlights and they turned out perfect. IMO typeS headlight conversion should be a mandatory mod cuz they really give the front end some mean character!

yo is there a way you could that just post a before and after shot of this? just so i can get a beter idea of how much diferent this actualy looks?

Only thing you need changed is the DRL bulb.

i was looking at a parts schematic for the headlights and saw that the only difference is the balast size, why do we need the slim balast if we are going from base to type s or in my case from '04 to 07-08. Just wondering for future reference. TY
