Hamilton Honda appointment

Good afternoon fellow AZ members.
I have an appt at Hamilton Honda tomorrow morning.
I'm going for my 105k service and I would be asking for this.

1 Replace Timing Belt
2 Replace Hydraulic Tensioner
3 Replace Tensioner Bearing
4 Replace Spark Plugs
5 Water Pump
6 Idler Bearing
7 Valves adjusted only if the technician feel it's noisy
8 Replace engine coolant
9 Oil Change

So my question would be:
What else would you recommend I get done now that the technician would be in there?

Hamilton Honda is good and they will tell you if you will need anything else changed.

The only other item that could be considered while "in there", for purposes of reducing redundancy, would be a lightweight pulley.

That aside, they cover all bases.

$498 out the door for the TB, tensioner, drive belt and water pump. I did mine earlier this year.

That is one awesome deal. If only our local Honda dealer would do this.

Have no idea on price but as long as it's less then $1300 I'm cool.

"DeathMetal" would love to get a lightweight pulley but it's a little too late to order it.

Who do I have to talk to? I am from new hampshire but I'll take a trip to jersey for sure. How much are the parts, that is way to low.

It's not. They do an insane volume of this service and simply have better buying power and efficiency. I've been there on 3 different occasions and, at a minimum, there are 3 or more TLs between the lot and bay at any given time.

Maybe a few percentages points around what a local dealer would charge you.

Anyone in customer service. This is their standard price. For that I even got an overnight loaner car that I put about 500 miles on.

Check around. I believe someone posted that there was another Honda dealer in OH and one in SC that was doing a similar deal.

Well, aren't those interesting. I've done a fair amount of work in the engine bay, but I honestly can't recall seeing those in my journey.

Anyone?

Not really..that's a fair dealer price. Insanity is paying for it, though.

Insanity is paying to resurface rotors at the higher cost than buying new ones.

Good Deal for soo much work.

The parking brake is a bitch to do, took me a few hours to really figure it out, after doing the rotor replacement myself.... I only had very limited time in the mornings so I Attempted to readjust it, to the Factory specs.
rust builds up in the E brake assembly and springs,

BUT the Plugs job is something I would not pay for.
I found the NGK IZFR6K- 11 for $6 each

they over charged you - at $24 each plug, wow......
but They do GREAT work and the TECHS are Top notch.

How does the TL run after this service?

They're bolts for the timing cover. I wouldn't be worried about them. Just have the tech re-install them.

I agree. Didn't see the rotors on his work order. I had to get mine resurfaced on my car before I sold it. Got them both done for $40 but I had to pull them off the car myself.. nbd. Was a rush job because I had a trip to Deal's Gap coming up the following day LOL

Not good to find two timing cover bolts sitting on the cowl. Would make me wonder what else got left out under the covers. I've heard many good things about Hamilton, but maybe the techs are getting rushed to pump these jobs out at such a reasonable rate.
