Hi, I'm a new member here. I've been looking at buying a TL for a while now and finally decided to get serious today. I'm in SoCal and 6MT's are very hard to find. I called the 4 dealers in my area and only one had a 6MT in stock I could test drive. I went up there and drove it and loved it, of course. I was fully prepared to order the car I wanted (Anthracite/Ebony 6MT NAVI), as they are impossible to find on lots. I sat down to talk to them about the wait time and they said they had a sepcial order for the exact car I wanted cancelled earlier in the day. The car is scheduled for delivery in one week and I have the VIN in hand. So, I'm getting my new TL, complete with the A-spec package in a week, instead of having to wait 6-8 weeks for the order. I'm a happy camper I hope the rest of my TL ownership experience is this good...

 

If you don't mind, who was the dealer and what was the price (including destination charge) before TTL?

Valencia Acura. $40K with the A-spec kit installed. I'm sure some could have gotten a better deal, but I'm not much of a haggler and I felt very lucky to find the exact car I wanted with a short wait. This price may change however. I just found out a friend is a service manager at another Acura dealer. If he can get me an exceptional deal on the A-spec parts and labor, I will buy the car from Valencia, but go to his dealer for the A-spec kit. We'll see...

 

i went saturday morning at 9am by noon i was in my silver sixspeed with nav, i was not to fond of lower body moulding on the aspec so i opted to piece mine together i got the 18"s and spoiler the comtechs go on in may.... i parked next to a antrhacite aspec and i would swear my car was almost as low...other people on these threads have thought it looked lowered also im sure just an illusion though...the antracite aspec looked great..we both complemted each other..i told him about this sight.jjay slvsixspd nav 18"s spoiler 15% tint ect ect check my car out at
