GTA Area

Has anyone in the GTA area done any mods to their TL's?
If so, can you list what shops did the work and what was done.

Thanks

Additional interest..

I am also interested in finding out about the good mod shops in the GTA area. Hopefully some fellow TL owners in the GTA will have some recommendations for us?

Cheers,

I have had a few parts installed in my car in TO at Speedtech Auto in Scarborough. Its a pretty good place and they know what they are doing. Their rates are also very good! If you are looking to get a set of springs installed they were doing it for $120, which is a really good price. Talk to a guy named Sherman and he will take care of you.

A few people have also have work done at Woodbine Acura. They do alot of perforance work but thier prices are higher than average.

If you need any more info PM me and I will help out the best I can!

Did you have Computech springs installed by Speedtech Auto? If so how many hours did they bill you for? 3hrs at $40/hr? or 2hrs at $60/hr?

Thanks,

I called every dealership around here and one of them told me the only place that does mods is the Woodbine dealership b/c they don't push out the volume of the other dealerships.
I spoke to a guy named Paul in parts and he told me to come in and we could talk, I haven't as yet since it is still snowing up in here and I've stored the Nighthawk for the winter.
Any others from the GTA who would like to do some mods or have heard of any good mod shops, state your piece.

Thanks,
I actually have H&R sport springs on my car and had them installed at a place in London. But Sherman at speedtech told me that they will do them for 120. He didnt say anything about time, all I know is that they normally work at a fixed rate. So there are never any surprises.

Paul or Rob are the only people to talk to at Woodbine Acura. Let me know whatever price he quotes for you and I can maybe talk to him and get you a better deal!

I called and asked for a price on installing Computech springs. I forget the guys name but he put me on hold and went to speak with the service dept. advisor (I think). The price I got was $109/hr and was told it was a 5hr job. $545 +tax. I think they should be able to do it in 2.5 hrs. $545 is way too expensive. Let me know if anyone has gotten a better price from Woodbine?
