Group Buy: A SPEC Kit - Type-S Light Conversion
#46
Just got off the phone with Tim @ HondaAcuraWorld.Com
GB prices for the body kit is $792 including shipping & handling.
GB prices for the TL Type-S Tail Lights and Sidemarkers will be $302 including shipping and handling.
All OEM parts and the body kit does come painted in the color of your choosing free (factory body kit and paint).
Tim will be posting links for the purchases shortly.
Just some useful information to members: Type-S tail lights and Sidemarkers are a direct fit. Only thing you need to change for the tail lights is transfer your original LED board to the new headlight (Type-S tail light). All the DIY can be found in the 3G garage. The Body kit is a UNDER-BODY body kit, not a full original kit. The kit makes the car more aggressive while sustaining the luxury look of our cars. The body kit installation is easy if you follow the directions and be patient. All post for parts of the body kit and lights should be directed to Tim @ HondaAcuraWorld.com and/or 1-888-729-5257.
Enjoy!

random question
So this girl backed up into me and cracked my front bumper this weekend..? will the insurance company send me a check to replace my damaged bumper, or will they take it in to do the repair? I have Allstate, and the girl who hit me has Geico, so dunno if its the same with all procedure for all insurance companies. Also does the A-spec front bumper replace the complete stock bumper?
How much does this kit normally cost without this group buy deal? and how much for installation?

Uhhh
Sorry forgot this thread existed lol, my bad...
Anyways, no the body kit does not replace your bumpers (front/rear, but it does replace your side skirts). It is a UNDERBODY spoiler, it goes over your bumper (please read first post before asking questions thanks!). Installation is a simple DIY (SEARCH!!). The kit varies between dealership. Some can be over $1000, some can be less, but Tim is a trusted vendor on AZ and have sold hundreds of kits too us. If you're going to pay someone to do this, this would be a good $700-800 wasted.

They do have ASM. I believe that Acura is not allowed to stop producing these especially since their making money and the fact that there is some sort of law/policy saying they can't stop until 4 years after the retire of the generation of vehicle (2012 or something like that I forget)
