Grille removal

Can any one tell me how to remove the front grille so I can have it painted ! Thanks !

the hood piece of the grill can be taken off by removing the plugs underneath the hood to get access to the bolts (i think 4)

you would have to take off the front bumper to remove the whole grill, its pretty much easy to see what to remove once the bumper is off

the front bumper does have to be removed for the girlle to come off.

Any aftermarket grilles yet?? That is the one thing I really don't like on my TL.

I not too thrilled about the aluminum look either - I'd prefer chrome even if it is plastic chrome - the enevitable stone nicks wouldn't be as noticable.
