Greetings!

Hey guys, just wanted to say a quick hello. First post, just bought my 07 TL yesterday and so far love it. This is my second Acura, I had a 94 GSR years ago and was a member of teamintegra.net for years. Looking forward to doing some upgrades in the future and so far have learned a ton from your site. Thanks!

Welcome to AZ! Your pics didn't post. Try using Photobucket or some other pic hosting site and post links from there.

Thanks guys! I am trying to figure out where to start on this car. Does anyone know what color blue this is? I want to start out with the lighting on the car first. What do you recommend for colors to compliment the blue color? Should I smoke everything? Eventually I would like to get some wheels or possibly paint these, what color do you think goes good with the dark blue? Should I keep them silver, do gunmetal or bronze? Trying to see what would look best. If any of you have any pics of a tasteful TL in this same color don't be shy, please post!

Welcome and congrats!

I believe that color is Royal Blue Pearl. As for complimenting colors, I would stay far away from black. Blacking everything out will make it look like a huge bruise rolling down the road.

For other mods, look into getting the A-Spec lip kit. It can be had for under $800 through a vendor like AckTL05 and it changes the whole look of the car. Tint those windows as well and you're off to a great start

Thanks for the tip...definately don't want to look like a bruise haha. Do those lip kits come painted? If so, how close do the colors typically match? I say this because this blue color is a hard color to match and I wonder if it will look weird.

Ok, awesome! Does it fit over whats already there or do you have to remove bumper/sideskirts/rear bumper?

^the front is added to the front bumper.
the rear is added to the rear bumper

the sides are replacements.

have never done the install, but I would think the front would be easier if you took off the front bumper.

Do you have to modify the original front or rear? (Drilling holes, etc)

^not if you get the correct one for your correct year.

however, if you want to get the type-s front or rear, you'll have to modify a little.

I thought some of the colors had been discontinued? Maybe not the 07 colors though. Check out the "Fall Accessories Sale Thread" send him a message and he'll quote you a shipped price for your color.

He just got back to me, looks like no kits in my color are left. (My luck.) Oh well, probably going to focus on other things right now as I don't want to spend $750 for a kit then another few hundred to have it painted. Here's a pic I took yesterday I thought was cool.
