Great Tint Shop in Orange County

If you need to get your car tinted, make sure to check out A Terrific Tint down in Mission Viejo.

I just recently got my car tinted there and they did a great job.

They installed the fairly new Llumar tint that works with Navi's and AM stations. I got the back window, back passenger windows, and driver and passenger windows tinted, plus felt on all four doors for $289.

Not only that but they found a scratch on the driverside rear window, after they had already tinted it, and offered to tint it again for free if I replaced the window (which I had done because the lame dealership were the ones who gave me the car with the scratched window).

The price might not be the cheapest but you'll get a great tint job done and they'll stand by their work.

That's really cheap considering what I paid for a tint job on my TL. I ended up paying almost $380 for mine including the felt for the windows. This was for a ceramic tint by Formula One.

oh yea...i found a quote too for a Formula One tint job, it was $400+. I

decided to go with the Llumar because both Formula One and Llumar are made by

cp and the Llumar is a more charcoal color whereas the Formula One supposedly

has a more blue-ish tint to it. I'm sure both are great quality wise. Just matters

what look your going for?

In Florida tint is inexpensive. I think I overpaid at $189 for carbon film by Suntek as other shops tint cars for $95 regular tint, $125 with Llumar. But the place does a fantastick job - no questions asked. I did 35% all around as it is legal in most states. In florida - you can go 28% front and 15% rear.

The felt i'm talkin about is the felt that needs to be put on the doors. Because of

the "air tight seal", people recommend felt so your tint doesn't get scratched. I

think it might only be for 3rd generation TL's tho, but i'm not sure.

Dang I wish CA didn't have such strict tinting laws, i'd def have tinted my car darked then.
