Great deal on a Type-S

This is not my car nor do I have any conection with it I just thought it was a great deal. Hope this helps anyone looking for an S

3. Perfect condition
4. Registration valid for next year

If all above is true I think seller could get more money as a trade in.
I'd proceed with caution.

I agree but some people just need to get out of a payment right now. I bought my 6speed 2005 with 60k on it for 10K 5 months ago the guy need money bad for some dental work he was 66 years old and the original owner.

This is a pretty good price.

Edmunds is on the low side of pricing typically, and I just spec'd out a 93k mile 2008 type-s automatic in Clean condition and it shows $18.9k private party.

3k under private party value is pretty damn good for a starting point on the price.

Dont forget to factor in the 100k service that probably needs to be done. That is a few K there.

A few K if you take it to the Acura dealership and tip the mechanic $1,000 on top of the already overprice $2,000 they will try to charge you.


Take it to a reputed indy shop or a Honda dealership and you will make it out with a much heavier wallet.
