Got a price on a 04 TL auto nav...but, is it good???

I went shopping today and talked price with a dealer (in Chicago). The lowest I got him to go down was to $33,500. I have looked at edmund's and know the hold back amount, but not able to get the price of at least invoice. I know I need to be realistic. Have any of y'all been able to get lower.

seems like a good price, recently i have seen prices in the high 32K's maybe due to dealers trying to get rid of 04 stock.

Welcome to the forum

If your $33,500 includes the destination charge, this isn't too bad.

East coast dealers seem to provide better deal or more discount now. The west coast dealers are still selling their 04TLs with less discount, often higher than yours.

bauer,

We're picking up our 2004 Acura TL Anthracite/Ebony 5AT Navigation tomorrow!!!! The dealer is Acura of Libertyville, and we negotiated down to $32,450, and that's including destination I was excited about the low price, and he came down fairly easily. So yes, you could probably knock another $700-$1000 off that price!

Good Luck!

May I ask which Chicago dealer you got that price from? And did it include the destination charge? I'm still torn between getting an '04 or waiting for an '05.

If you don't want to post it in the forum, please send me a PM.

Thanks

Libertyville is Northwest of Lake Forest, and a little south of Gurnee. Just go to acuralibertyville.com for a map/dealer information.

Jobbin,

That's a super low price. Did they offer you to buy it for that price or just lease it at that price....

I leased the car but if I wanted to purchase the car that would have been the price.

That's a great price, I picked up a similar car up here in Boston for 33K + tax.

Picked up my Anthracite/Ebony 5AT Navigation tonight. Ended up getting it at McGrath, but the other one. Ended up paying $33,150 with wheel locks, splash guards, and all season mats.

That is a good price seeing the pkg costs some where around $6000. I dealt with John Eagle Acura on hwy 6. They seemed pretty good about going down on price. Which dealer did you go to:?
