Got my Zaino show Pack, But its all Frozen !

Thumbs up Got my Zaino show Pack, But its all Frozen ! update

Talked to customer service (which is in Kansas) any told them my problem below. They called Sal and he told them to send me a complete new show pak !... Told them not to send until Feb when the weather around here warms up! 4 degrees here tonight. !..
So Zaino backs up there products no questions. !
Now I can't wait for better weather to try this Zaino stuff



Got my delivery of the Zanino show car Pack today. I opened it up and it was all FROZEN.!!!!! The bottles all expanded and some have cracks.
If I call Sal ,you think they wiil send me a new kit? or am I a victim
of the the "Northeast COld Snap" its 7 degrees here in RI tonight.
Gee, I was really looking forward to trying out this stuff.

I was planning on order the kit myself and didn't even think of this. I would probably wind up in the same boat as you as I'm in SE Mass. How did they ship? Did it sit outside your door at home? Maybe it would be better to ship to my office?

Call them up and demand a new batch. It is not your fault that it arrived frozen, and I think it ruins or greatly diminishes it's effectiveness. If they do you wrong report back to us so we can call and:argue: with them on your behalf.

Put all the sh*t in the box and write return to sender.
Tell your credit card company and more then likely they will credit your account. Use the power of the credit card.

move to the west it was 77 degrees today.

Give the guy a chance to do right first, that's only common courtesy. Your credit card company will likely want you to try to resolve it directly anyway before they would get involved.

Don`t call your credit card company yet. Call Zaino and see if they can re-ship your order, while sending the 'ice" wax back

Exactly. Instead of *****ing at and getting violent at Zaino, give them a shot first. Email or call them up and see what they say.

Short of picking it up locally (if available), I was wondering if we have any other option in terms of having liquid car care products delivered intact? I am not aware of UPS/FedEx/USPS guaranteeing a lower temperature limit for the shipped product !

Sal is pretty good about customer service...don't "demand" anything, just explain what happened and I'm sure they'll take care of it.

Sent 'Tony at Zainobros.com an email regarding the frozen shipment, hopefully they will understand and send me a new kit.

If they used a commercial shipper, the package was insured up to $100. They will gladly send you a new batch if you return the damaged one. This time have it sent so that you could pick it up at one of the shipping company's centers.

I got my kit on Friday from Fed Ex. It was frozen solid also. I looked it over for cracks and what not this weekend after it thawed and I didn’t find any. I’ll email someone at Zaino and ask if it ruins the stuff if it freezes and see what they say.

My stuff wasn’t leaking so there is not obvious damage. I will apply it to the old Mercedes on the next decent day. If the stuff still works it will be evident then.

Receiving those goods frozen, would still make me nervous.
I would return them.

Folks seem to be happy with the Zaino service dept, but the fact remains everything was frozen, thru no fault of Zaino.

If you don't feel comfortable and confident about purchase, send them back.

I ordered mine tonight and had it shipped to my office so maybe I have a fighting chance of it not freezing?!?! I'll let everyone know when it arrives but it is good to know they stand behind their products.

I know the cold snap is still happening in the area, but I took a chance and ordered the Leather cleaner anyway. It arrived today wrapped up in several layers of paper to prevent it from freezing. The contents are perfectly intact, so they are packing the products to protect them from freezing at this point. BTW, I used the polish that I got a few weeks ago that arrived frozen and it performed just fine.

Mine arrived at my office and was partially frozen but didn't seem any worse for wear. Now I'm just waiting on my car -!!!
