Cool Got my VIN! Got a question ...

Is there anything else I can realistically get out of the dealer at this point, such as wheel locks or trunk tray? My sales agreement never mentioned anything, although the salsperson knows that I might be interested in a few of the options. He's a pretty nice guy, but I'm not sure if I really have any bargaining room left, especially since I ordered the car.

BTW, My VIN is in the 29,xxx range.

Probably Not. You might try to appeal to them at one point during delivery as you really dont have any leverage left. The dealer I purchased through would only knock about 10 bucks off of the all weather mats after I purchased. I said forget it, as I could purchase off of ebay for 94.00. Their best price was 116.00

Got Jazz

When my dealer and I agreed to a price over the phone and it did not include any accessories. I went in the next day to put down a deposit, he told me that "he was going to take care of me" when I pick up my TL. I received my VIN number (29xxx) today from him three weeks after I ordered the car. I asked him to clarify "taking care of me" meant. He said he will throw in the Trunk Tray, Wheel Locks, and All Weather Floor Mats for free. So I think it's not too late to see if he will do the same for you.

Wheel Locks and Trunk Trays are pretty much included with most of the deals I seen people mention. If you are interested in "freebies", I would get with your salesman soon. After all this is coming out of the dealer's pocket. Now mind you it isn't a lot from a cost perspective, but who doesn't like freebies and the trunk tray is a big plus.
