You're right. The one I posted is 1.14mm, barely a difference. Either way it should work fine, but worst case scenario if it doesn't hold I can say I've had personal experience with the one I posted and it's never let me down.

 

you can go to advanced auto to pick up 3m double side molding tape. i have the same gap on mine also. I have re-installed it about 2 or 3 times now but just blamed it on the bumper since its an aftermarket replacement bumper.

 

I like it alot, it's good enough for me. I don't feel a need to go with the full blown kit.
The full kit is pretty pimpy, but this is pretty good looking IMO.

I'll probably return this anyways. It was almost $10. Amazon has the automotive one for like $6.
