GOT IT LAST NIGHT! 08 Acura TL-S
so last night i went to look at a 08 tl-s at a local dealership...i have been thinking about trading in my leased 10 lexus rx 350 to purchase a TL....i have always loved the 3 gen TL ever since my dad got one in 04 when the new body style came out.....i will post up some pics soon when i pick the car up in a few days.....i made out with no money out of my pocket and keeping the same payment as my lexus....i got the car for 29k with only 9600 miles on the odometer.....my only plans for the car right now is tint, a spec kit and possibly lowering it a little

here is the link to my car....like i said they had just got the car in so they only had the one picture and even that one wasnt on the website yesterday when i found the listing....i will get a pic of the odometer and others when i pick the car up

Make sure to take a strong flashlight and a buddy -other than spouse-
to nitpick the car to death
ANY dings, glass chips, paint issues, doors or hood/truck are not perfect lines, anything underhood looks wrong, Battery tested? (3 years is average life)
ALL RECALLS complete?- that should be done anyway but in a rush they can forget~
Anything you want them responsible for must be documented with the sales manager before you accept the car--anything you find the next day is your tough luck~
This applies to all stereo speakers!!! ck each one seperate, all the controls etc
Cabin and external lights- every LED works on the tails???
even though low miles its due for brake fluid change based on age
and a cabin air filter (easy diy)
Also ready for new nav disc ($185)
Once in your hands register with acura as owner 1-800-382-2238x5

i bought my type s from rick case two years ago and will never buy a car from them again. they sold me a certified car with no oil change, the auto tranny was missing 1 quart, wont warrenty my calipers since they were fading and i can keep going on. check ur dip stick to make sure they changed ur oil. they also put some cheap ass general tires with the wrong speed rating.

chill out a bit. the car has friggin 9600 miles...even if nothing has been done so far, it's barely due for the first. Dont need to worry too much about maintenance issues at that mileage.
