Goodbye 3G'ers... it was a great ride for more than a decade!

I just wanted to pop in here and say that I finally sold my 3G TL after 246,000 miles that I bought new back in October of 2003. I go into the why in this thread in the 5G forum, so I won't re-post or start a similar thread here : https://acurazine.com/forums/5g-tlx-2015-2020-415/ive-left-dark-side-916970/

I just wanted to say if I had to do it all again, I'd still buy that 3G TL. It was reliable until the very end and I had a blast driving it across many state lines. lol. I hope you guys have as much fun with yours. It's amazing how many 3G's I still see running around out there. One of the great things about the car is the owners may move on, but the cars keep going. There are guys on this forum with over 300,000 miles on those cars and it's a testament to how good the vehicle can be.

I'm still in the Acura family, though, as I just picked up my white/ebony 5G (TLX) today. I'm hoping this one is just as reliable.

Good luck and happy motoring to my 3G brethren.

^^I agree totally!...and I love Acura. But thus far it's just not my cup of tea either.

But good luck with the TLX Rocketsfan

Just curious, how is the power difference between your 3G TL and TLX?

Congratulations! I hope to see another similar post in 10 years when it's time to part with the TLX. Hopefully, it will be as good as the TL was.
