^ that's all u need to know. just got mine done there a few days ago and it took 1hr 50 minutes (while i sat there and ate jack in the box) then i was on my way home to la. i would recommend anyone to go there.

one thing that barely anyone ever mentions is that the factory tint on the tl is 75%, so whatever tint you get your windows are a little darker than the film % after the tint is applied and read with a lightmeter. i think best is trying to push a new type of film right now that goes in grades of 40% to 20% etc. but i had them put the old type solarguard (i think that's the brand) cus i wanted 35/25 on my black/black tl. it looks pretty dang dark and i kinda don't like when the fronts are noticeably lighter. if you read the tint threads best won't go darker than 35% on the front.

job was $160 with moleskin. seems cheap but the tint job is no doubt first rate. i think the price is low cus this joint is NOT a small operation, they usually do houses, business buildings, etc. and do cars in the back.

Best Tinting is my recommendation also. It is the best tint job I have ever had on any of my cars. There is nothing I can complain about with their install. It was excellent.

Just had mine tinted yesterday at Mr. Tint in Escondido for $300. Walked in with no appointment at 3, left around 4 with professional tint - got lucky, slow afternoon.

I don't think yours will require moleskins. If not, it will be cheaper.

XLINT.COM is the best that I have been to. They know their cars and do a great job. They even installed the Moleskin and I did not even know it.

I had the CARBON TINT (Won't interfere with NAV) installed and it was $240 for all Windows except Moonroof. If you want the Metallic it is only $190. All of these prices include the moleskin.

The tint is computer cut, the waiting room has a TV and Wifi.. Not a bad place. They are located in Orange..

Thanks. I did not know there were different types of tint you 'should' be getting.

from joining this board and reading i understand that the metallic tint is a NO!! and there is a felt that needs to be added. some places seems to quote seperately on it while others just include it in with the price.

the reason why your getting scratches like that is because the tint place you went to prolly didnt know that you needed felt to be installed cuz most of the 3g tl's didnt come with felt which scratches your window tint at our shop we have a list that tells us which cars need felt .. havent had one complaint from any customers
