DO NOT BUY AT THAT PRICE!!!

I repeat...

DO NOT BUY AT THAT PRICE!!!

Where the heck are you getting that price?!?!?! David McDavid Acura or Sterling?

I got my NBP/Ebony/6MT/Navi/HPT w/Splash Guards, Tint, Moonroof Visor, Full Nose Mask, All-Season Floormats for less than that out-tha-door.

McDavid. I countered $35,500. Do you think that would be better? Let me know.

Do what you like, but I would not deal with McDavid. They were by far the worst on price and they weren't willing to budge.

Out of 18 dealerships across Louisiana, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arkansas, and Texas... I found the best deals (and willingness to work on price) in Texas. Let me be more specific... Houston and Dallas area (Arlington included).

SA and Austin didn't do it for me, they seem to think they're too remote and exclusive.

Let me just say you should get "out the door" with what I got at or under 35k.

Good Luck!

Faruffer, is that "drive out" including tax?

I'm talking $36,274 including the accessories and the 6.25% tax and title and registration. The way I figure it I'm looking at around $33,200 before the extras and TT&L.

At $33,200 I thought I was doing good.

Something to consider...

A dealer that has a better (read higher) volume sales rating will be more likely to work with you on price. Smaller or remote dealerships normally don't have the negotiating room.

Expand your horizons... or rather, your search.

"Coming Soon:
2 more quality issues (23 to date) and I'm driving it through the Ohio plant while on fire."

I am with you and I have only had 5 or 6 quality issues so far - Purchased 3/23 and have 2300 miles due to a road trip. Makes me wonder what else they jacked up with my TL. The more I read the more I am learing that there are a long line of 2004 TL owners ready to join the party. Honda better take some action or sales are going to hit the shitter.

I've been getting quotes from Florida as well, Rick Case Acura, with David Kalish. He can't touch the $36,274 delivered.

BTW, talked to another guy at the same dealership in Austin, started talking Tejano to him, and he said he can get the price lower and give me an RSX to drive until my new TL comes in about 3wks from now (since I just sold my '98 BMW 318i w/140k miles tonight). Is that Customer Service or what? Called my local dealer and they're going to call me tomorrow AM to see if they can do better.

I'll keep y'all posted.

My price was before TT&L. I think $33,200 before extras and tax is a good price.

Okay my drive out is about $41,446 and that is with TT&L. This is for an Anthracite/Ebony/Nav/5AT with wing spoiler, floor mats, front, rear, & side under body spoiler, 18" wheels, body side molding, door edge trim, moonroof visor, tint, and wheel locks. This was through the internet manager. Please give me some input (please don't be mean...I'm fairly new at this). Thanks in advance for your advice. I have not yet purchased the car, but have really been pushing hard at dealerships all around San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, Ft. Worth, and Houston.

That almost sounds like an A-Spec. Is that right? Find out what your base price is before the goodies. That'll give you a better idea. Right now you're $5k more out the door than what I'm paying and that's what the A-Spec usually runs.

Okay the breakdown from my point of view is (estimated):

TT&L $2678
Accessories w/ install $4650 (not A-spec though, parts alone come out to 3636, then add install)
Base Price I'm getting: $34,118
Plus I am getting a service package (oil changes, loaners for life, etc...)

That's where I get the $41,446. And they will not budge on that. However, Faruffer got his Auto with Navi from same dealership for $33,650. But I don't know if that's base, that's definately minus TT&L. Girls never get taken seriously! I have negotiated down a bit from original price, but they won't budge now...

Talk to my guy in Austin. See what he can do for you if you don't mind the drive.
Roy Martinez - 210-849-3405. Tell him Brian from San Antonio referred you. I'm sure he can beat that price.
