Good Price?

My parents are buying me a 2005 Acura TL 5-Speed Automatic w/ Navigation and my sister a 2005 Acura TSX 5-Speed Automatic w/ Navigation come December. I was talking my to my local dealer and they said that they would give me the 2005 Acura TL 5-Speed Automatic w/ Navigation for INVOICE ( $31,803 ) and my OTD price would be $34,662! The 2005 Acura TSX 5-Speed Automatic w/ Navigation price would be $28,879 and my OTD price would be $31,563! This was after only 30 minutes of negotiating! Oh yeah, what kind of APR can I expect with perfect credit come December? Any holiday APR offers such as 1.9% APR or something of that nature? Thanks!

Quick Price Breakdown:

2005 Acura TL 5-Speed Automatic w/ Navigation

$31,803 ( Invoice Offered )
+ $545 ( Destination )
+ $152 ( Doc. Fee )
+ $246 ( DMV Fee )
+ $7.50 ( Tire Tax )
+ $1,908 ( 6% Tax )
= $34,662 ( OTD Price )

2005 Acura TSX 5-Speed Automatic w/ Navigation

$28,879 ( Price Offered - Roughly $1000 Below MSRP )
+ $545 ( Destination )
+ $152 ( Doc. Fee )
+ $246 ( DMV Fee )
+ $7.50 ( Tire Tax )
+ $1,733 ( 6% Tax )
= $31,563 ( OTD Price )

Sorry, put $38,879 instead of $28,879 for the 2005 Acura TSX 5-Speed Automatic w/ Navigation price. Simple typo. I corrected it. The price breakdown is above. Thanks "rets".

How old are you? You sound like you're pretty young, but you already have had 3 different cars...

Me too Me too. Can I have a new car?

I was lucky I got a car when I learned to drive. It was a '91 Geo Storm GSI in 1998. The GSI was the "sport" package and got you dual exhaust and pin stripe!!!!

Actually, I'm kinda glad I worked for my subsequent cars. I appreciate the TL much more knowing that I bought it myself and no one gave it to me.

Just be careful while you post your dealer name, you'd better turn on your PM and who likes to know the dealer name could use PM system to communicate with you.

Once you posted the dealer's info publicly, your dealer will definitely receive tons of phone calls, and you "might" be in trouble later.

mad_russian used to talk about his deal. Tons of members didn't believe him, so he scanned his contract and posted it.

After hundreds of calls flying into that dealer, his agent realized mad_russin was the traitor, and called him to remove his info in order to continue processing his deal. Then, he did...
