Good Deal?
When I heard of other TSX drivers getting crazy deals on TL Type-S', I decided to do some shopping. I went to my local Acura Dealer here in NYC and I was quoted $33,980 for a Black/Black 6-Speed. Roughly $37k OTD.
Is that a good deal? Would you act on that deal even if you have a 2007 Black/Black TSX 5spd w/ NAVI and 4800 miles only?
I am so torque hungry!

The quoted price is good but nothing out of the ordinary, I'm sure others would be willing to offer the same price if not lower...and considering the hit you'd take on the TSX...it wouldnt be worth it IMO but it's what you value that counts

yeah i heard people are getting quoted 33-34K OTD so I am shocked b/c I thought I did so well negotiating. Would it make a difference if the dealer is in NYC? I was thinking of hitting up dealer's in the boondocks of PA and NJ and maybe even Long Island. I really want change and by that I mean torque and rear-backup camera. (Would be helpful since 99% of NYC is parallel parking)

Sounds like a good deal. It' all about what you want. If you need more power, then by all means upgrade to the TL or another car. You prolly won't miss th TSX. Check out the fleet salespeople and see what they're offering. Compare that price with your negotiation price with the regular sales people.

I guess I would only agree at this point if they appraise my current TSX at 24K or above and give me the TL for 32.5k or less. I really like the car and this would of been a definite deal if the TL's were AWD to support my snowboarding trips. Maybe waiting for the 2009 TL's is a smarter option, cheaper 08's and a possibility of a 09 SH-AWD TL.
