Good deal on a '07 Type S?

Found an '07 Type S, NBP, AT, clean title with 93K miles. The owner is including snow tires and it has a KARR security system. Seller is asking $16k, but said $15k is his lowest price. I'm waiting on the carfax report to confirm it's clean, but another negotiating point is the upcoming 105k service which will cost about $500-700. What do you think?

Seems reasonable, I just got my new type-s for $15k with 99k miles but it's a 6MT and dealership new that was an additional selling point with this particular car because it was one of the salesmen's vehicles.

I'm selling my other type-s, I will PM you.

Bought mine from a dealership for $15k @100,000 miles, they wanted $18,500. Its a good deal but if you can negotiate that tune-up do it!

Damn! I got ripped! I just bought my 07 type s for $19,950. That was the best deal I could find on the west coast. Only 77000 miles though.

I don't think that's a valid negotiating point. You are asking someone to reduce the price for something that wont occur until more 12k miles and to be straight blunt about it......its not OP's problem. However, you can try and see if the seller will negotiate. Best of luck.

I don't see that as being "ripped." OP is buying through a private seller and from the figures you gave, seems you went through a dealer. Plus you got 16k miles less, but I am just going by whatever is being given.

Seems like a fair deal. For reference, my 07 Type-S with 76k miles cost me $17k a couple weeks ago. So the $15k seems fine.

I paid $19,000 for 08 type S (6 speed manual) with 70K miles with A-Spec kit (suspension, wheels, and body kit), so I think I got a fairly good deal. 15K seems like a great deal.
