Glove box alignment, and front passenger door

I have anthracite/ebony, and there are two complaints I have, that i have also noticed on all the other ebony interiors I have seen at the dealer...

complaint number 1:
The glove box doesnt line up with the dash on the left side, it looks as if the glove box is slightly too low... I have thought about taking the little bracket-like thing off that that is on the dash, shaving down the "back" side, where it bolts to the dash, which would hopefully cause the glove box door to close "further".

Complaint number 2:
The aluminum on the dash and the aluminum on the front passenger door do not align together, if i remember right, the door is "slightly" too low.

I know these are trivial complaints... actually.... these, along with not being able to roll up the windows from the remote are my only complaints so far (I've had it for a week and a half).

I have the exact same 2 things and have not mentioned it to the dealer. I did look at an 05TL RRP and it had the same issue. Depends what angle you look into the car. Looking at it from outside the passenger window, it looks fine, but from the driver seat it doesn't. If you talk to the dealer let me know what he says.

30k or 60k ... the glove box should align w/ the fricken dashboard.

I have heard that dealerships can re-align the glove-box -- I would take it in and see if they can do that for you. It shouldn't be a big problem -- they may have to order new brackets, or adjust the current ones.
