Getting your car cleaned at the dealership
Does Acura dealerships offer services such as shampooing the carpet, cleaning the leather, exterior and wheels of our car? If so has any got this done before and how much did it cost?

One on the right for me
My dealership washes the car when I have it in there for warranty work. They do a great job. I dont like other people washing my car but I've watched them do it and they treat it like their own.

The way I look at it in order to get the best job possible take your car to a specialist and your Acura dealer is NOT a detailing specialist. There have to be some places around you that specialize in car detailing and based on what I have seen they don't charge more than the dealer does. While this might sound crazy, interview your detail shop just as you would any other professional. After all, your car is most likely the second biggest investment you'll ever make ..... and ya want it to look cool right .

Try having them use a drying cloth with a rock in it when they're wiping down a NBP.

I wouldn't look to the dealer for this service. It's not what they are in business for. In prior threads most folks overwhelmingly did not let the dealer wash or clean their cars at all. Period. My dealer fully understands this and doesn't argue with me. They just leave it alone.
You would probably do better to find a well respected detailer in your area if you ar not wanting to DIY. That's their business and some do it very well.
