General questions from a newby '08 TL owner

Thanks, trying to get up to speed.

1. Is my trunk supposed to go all the way up when I hit the trunk release on the remote or just up about an inch?
2. Are my door mirrors supposed to adjust/move when I put the car into reverse? I seem to have seen folks discussing this but mine don't move.
3. What should I treat my dash with? I read about some that cracked. I also have read that Armor All actually is counterproductive. Dealer said just a damp cloth but I can't imagine that there isn't some treatment that would be good.
4. Door sills. I wear dress shoes daily and will get some minor heel marks on the sill (taupe). What is best to clean this with that won't leave any discoloration/fading etc., with prolonged usage?
5. Radio presets. Can I not customize the equalizer settings to each radio preset? Talk radio needs no bass/sub but I want it for the music presets.
6. What is the best resource for getting info on syncing a contact list via bluetooth for a Droid?
7. What is your preferred souce for purchasing do it yourself maintenance items (cabin filters, air filters, brake pads, etc.)?
8. How about for replacement body parts? (Example, my horizontal brushed aluminum fascia right above the license plate on truck has a small scratch. Also, my left rear taillight LENS has a crack. I am assuming I can just replace the lens/cover.).
9. What fuel injector cleaner is most widely recommended?
10. How much fuel remains when the low fuel light appears? Seems like about 3 gallons or even more.
11. Is there a way to program the sunroof NOT to open when I hold the unlock button down (to make all the windows roll down when approaching my car in 95 degree heat)? I love this feature, by the way.

Thanks for any direction and input.

I’ll be the first to reply and not say to use the search as many questions can be answered this way.
1. No
2. Only if the switch is set to left or right. Read owner’s manual
3. 303 or I use turtle wax F21
4. Cleaner wax, but if heavy and cut therough the paint, it will not be able to be removed
5. I say no to individual presets
6. I’ll leave that to the experts
7. Rock Auto with the 5% discount
8. Dealer or Black Market
9. None needed-Waste of money
10. @2.5 gal
11. Not that I'm aware of

6. If your phone has bluetooth capability (and almost everyone phone these days do), then you can simply pair your phone to the vehicle and tell your navi to sync contacts with it via prompts. Though this still doesn't solve your "stored" numbers where you need to say a name in order for a "quick dial" feature from the steering wheel. Also, importing your phone book will also make adding a "voice tag" to the number much easier, just take 10-15 minutes out of your time and play around with it, its fairly user friendly :-D.

On #4, clean up with the magic eraser and then treat with Aerospace 303 (can find at boating stores or their website. Order the free sample pack, it also has window washer tablets that are also a great product.
