Does anyone have this problem? when the door is closed,the end towards the back of the car sticks out about 3/16". If you push on the door it lines up perfectly. Is there an adjustment that I could do? move the latch that attaches the lip on the inside of the door?

That 3/16" sounds like it would require a pretty big adjustment. It may be possible to adjust the plastic piece attached to the body. or it may have to be on the piece that is attached to the door.

The service manual shows the procedure for adjusting the other end of the door, with the hinge on it, by loosening the bolts, but I don't think this would help if the problem is on the other end, like yours.

If it is at all possible to get to the dealer, I think I would let him take care of it. If you try bending things you might break something off and then they might not cover it under warranty.
