G8 GT vs 91 NSX on 5psi

I hesitated on putting this video up just because i really don't like it. I wasnt close enough nor was i able to keep up.
The Pontiac has a number of boltons including HFPC and lightweight pulleys. NSX is supercharged on 5psi.
Following this recording, the NSX changed his method by starting the race in the vtec rpm range allowing him to pull ahead of the G8 two consecutive times.

edit: The G8 wins in this recording

That G8 must have major bolt ons to keep up with a S/C NSX. I stuck fender to fender with a stock G8 (looked/sounded stock) from ~70-115 and my car has only trapped 102. The one I ran had a passenger and I didn't, but from what I've seen, they only trap 101-105 stock. I guess they respond really well to mods though.

All LSx based motors respond amazingly well to bolt-ons, that's pretty well documented.

The G8 GT, however, has the "L76" motor which is a weaker version of the standard LS2 motor (ls2 block) down about 40hp.

And the fact the G8 weighs like 4,000 lbs doesn't help either.

ahh, NSX, gorgeous. Both slow tho, lol! 5psi isn't much, so nobody expects it to be very quick. Legendary tho, do want.

It's quite an astounding sight to see that thing in your rear view mirror as it gets bigger and closer at a rate you didn't anticipate.
