G37 vs Supercharged S2000

So I went cruising for a bruising in the G last night around 12:30am after hitting the gym. As I was coming down Mercy rd towards the 15 south I noticed a familiar pair of tail lights..

To make a long story short, I ran a S/C'd AP1 last night. Lol. It was him and a female passenger. Supercharged for sure, exhaust for sure, custom front fenders for sure, RPF-1's, coilovers, rear diffuser, and a hardtop. That's all I could pick up from a quick glance.

We went once from ~25 to a little over 100(?? I wasn't watching the speedo) and he pulled me by about 2 to 3 cars.

Second run we lined up at 55mph in 2nd gear. Stupid decision on my part, I had to shift to 3rd right away and this 7AT lags like crazy. We started with his S2k about a half car ahead of my G. I didn't realize it until it was too late though. After the 3rd honk he instantly pulled a car length and slowly increased it to a car and a half. Once we got deeper into the triple digits however it seemed that I was slowly, but surely reeling him in. Don't know for sure whether I would've pulled in front of him or not but I was creeping up for sure.

It was a well built, strong running S2K for sure and an awesome couple of runs. Hopefully I'll get the chance to bump into him again and get it on camera.

All in all, I'm proud of my stock pig of a sedan.

Edit: I have to find a way to record these runs.

Nice death! I'm usually at the gym late too. Those endorphin fueled, late night/early morning highway encounters are the best.

Yes they are man, thanks Anx! It was definitely a lot closer than I thought it would be. I've got minor bolt-ons planned for this car if I decide to follow through with modding it at all.. It'll be interesting to see how it runs after everything is said and done. Wish I had a 6MT though.

Have you had any kills/deaths lately?

It was fun man. When are we gonna run?? It's tradition now man. I've raced you in my two previous cars as well.

Update it to list the G and the Civic.
