FWD to AWD Acura TL 3G
I came across an AWD Acura RL tranny on eBay and through, if we can install the Fwd Acura RL tranny and engine, what would it take to install the RL driveshaft and differential to power the rear wheels?

the rear suspension on the RL setup is completely different in the RL. have both the RL and TL-S so i know lol.
I laugh every time when people said "4G TL SH-AWD" is the same as the RL, On paper term (yes) on actual mechanical term (big FAT no). The MDX, RDX, TL and ZDX can transfer power front to back and side to side but that similarity come to an end. The RL SH-AWD and ONLY found in the RL that it have a unique device call "Accelleration Device" a planetary gears set that allow the rear wheel rotate 5% faster than the front wheel.
TL SH-AWD upon launch from a stop it engage rear axle and quickly passing the power to the front axle until you got 5 bar up front and 2 in rear, where contrast with the RL its actually put power down as RWD with 5 bar in the rear and 2 up front. I drove all Acura SH-AWD system already and found that the KB1 had the slowest response time (being the oldest model) but its unique that not found on any other line up.
In the RL if you light on throttle its in FWD mode, moderate throttle its in AWD mode and lift your foot off the throttle its in RWD mode.

Yeah, it's been discussed before. The fabrication, customization, ECU changes and parts would probably cost more than the car is even worth. And that doesn't count the endless hours taking care of technical hiccups and tracking down certain parts. By the time you were done you might as well have just purchased a 4G SH-AWD or even a TLX SH-AWD.
