Front/Rear Lips Install

So i jus called my service department to get a quote on how much it would be to install front and rear lips on my car, they said $285 for about 3.-4-4 hours?

Um..just wondering..where did the rest of you get yours installed? Is there a better deal out there, or that's all?

FOr those who installed it themselves, how long did it take, and was it hard? I kept hearing there is some drilling involved, but i dont think i can drill into my own car..i dont wanna messe it up...

Thanks!

Francis

i installed the front bumper lip myself. the front is not that hard but i'm not sure about the back. you've gotta drill holes for the rear lip.

i did the install of the whole a-spec body kit. front took about 1-1.5 hours, sides 1 hours and rear 1.5 hour. Sides are real easy, front is not bad and rear is the most difficult.

if i were you, do the front yourself and have them do the rear. the rear involves bumper removal and drilling into painted ABS. the front invloves hidden drilling and non bumper removal. full instructions can be found in the 3G garage.

I installed the front lip, deck lid spoiler and the rear bumper valance. The hardest part was the rear bumper since it needs to come off, took about 5 hours total for all three pieces. I had never done anything like this before but it was not too dificult, have a buddy help you out and you should be able to do the install without major difficulties.
