Each dealership is different...some places have that "free lifetime oil change" offer and some might not have it...it all depends on the place you purchased your vehicle...

my dealership has free oil changes for life but you have to pay for every other service, such as 7500, 15000, 30000. as far as the 04 tl goes i believe it is just everyother oil change is free. cant complain with that i like free.

I have that get oil change for life deal (pay for every other one). After looking through the "coupon" book, I felt that I was being ripped off. For instance, my first oil change at 5K they wanted to charge me $75+. WTF? $75 for a simple oil change and that's not switching over to Mobil1 but using the typical oil they use (Castrol?). Mobil1 would have cost me $35+ extra. So I figure that if I went the dealer route, my next oil change (after the free one) would cost me like $150 or whatever they decided to charge me. What a rip. Now I just do my own maintenance unless it's something too complicated that I can't do in my own garage.
