So I was working on my car today and found a magnet underneath the battery tray and I was also underneath the steering wheels and found some hose with a light kinda looking thing coming out of it. Im wonder if that hose is supposed to be connected to something i tried looking at the various repair manual and couldnt find anything about it and is that magnet is necessary😂

 

Not sure about the magnet, but the hose is for the cabin air temperature sensor. It should plug into the back of the interior panel under the steering wheel. There is small vent visible on the outside of the panel, to give you an idea of where it goes.

 

Did some more research once I read your reply and that is definitely what the tubing is, no way I would've figured that out so thank you but not sure why is was disconnected.
