KBB means nothing. I've been looking to buy for a while as well, I don't think 17k is a steal by any means. See how low they'd be willing to go; don't be afraid to lowball them. I really do think the consumer is at an advantage right now.

On a side note, are you planning to bring it to an Acura or Honda dealer for inspection? I'm in a similar situation and it's on a dealer lot but I don't know how experienced they are with Acuras.

Nav

Price seems fair, not a steal, but fair, I would try and talk em down some more since you are going to need new wheels ASAP lol

I bet the last owner's name is Curby. :tomato:

As mentioned, the price is fair... But I think you can get a better deal if you look harder.

dudechewy 01-16-2009 11:20 PM

tiredandhungry67 01-17-2009 01:40 AM

If you want to buy through Acura, just keep waiting and do that.

One of the biggest mistakes people make when buying a car is settling on a purchase. DON'T! It's YOUR money; why spend it when you don't need to? IMO, buying a car used, especially one that has over 20,000 miles, you should try to get it certified. You have no idea how the previous owner treated it mechanically. I wouldn't take the risk. Just my :2cents:

FWIW, I shopped for my Type-S for at least 4 months. I even went to Brooklyn and back in 1 day (about 14+ hours in a car), but did not buy the car. Good things come to those who wait.

^yeah, im just gunna wait til something pops up thats a little closer and certified. thanks all for your input
