Fog Lights Conversion Questions??

Ok i want to change my fog lights to HID and i'm thinking of getting 6000k phillips but i know there are ballasts that i will have to hook up. My questions are where do i mount those ballasts. Is there any spot on the TL front bumper that will let me mount it that is safe?? thanks Sorry if this topic already been beat to death.

you can mount the ballast on the main frame 'C' structure on each side with double side tape. This is clearly visible once the bumper is removed.

I used 3M tape to mount my right one. I ran out of tape for the left one and it just slides around. Been fine for 4-5 months now. Its been through the cold, the rain, even snow. No problems .

IDK the idea of using tape scared me. Can you bolt it down?

That tape is pretty good stuff as long as the surfaces are clean and dry.

I heard some people use heavy duty velcro to mount ballasts.
