Hi,

The floor mats on my 05 TL with grey leather are pretty much done, so I'm going to order new ones. I can get the grey ones, however, I'm kind of wondering if the black ones might look good too. The dash and a lot of the interior trim is black, so I'm wondering if black floormats (ordered from hondacuraworld) might look pretty sharp?

Any thoughts?

Oh, and would you guys recomending getting the regular floormats or the all weather floormats? They are very close in price from hondacuraworld...

 

I'd recomend the all-weather mats. The only options on those are black or beige, so clearly, black would be the best choice.

I have an '08 TL and the gray was replaced by a lighter gray called "Taupe", and I went with the black all season mats. Actually doesn't look bad at all.

 

Yeap I have a typs-S 08 with taupe interios and the floor mats are black and it looks pretty good, and I got the all weather mats and the are MONEY.

 

I also have the black/taupe interior and the all weather mats (black). They look great and makes clean ups a snap.

 

Any of you can post pics?

I have an 08 PMM/w Taupe and will definitely purchase the all weather mats in black but I just want to have a feel of how it will look..

I would vote for blk mats as it syncs with your interior color also easier to keep it (look) clean ....

 

The grey interior for 2005 was quartz, which is what I have. I currently have a set of black all weather mats and a set of grey regular mats. I would get the grey mats to match the carpet unless you are getting all weather, in which case get black.

Here are pictures of the inside of my KBP w/ taupe interior. I have the black all weather floor mats. I am a big fan. When they get a little dirty i use some armor-all detailer and they turn black again and look sharp. They keep the inside of the car pretty clean too.

It looks 20 times cleaner!!! The center console and the back doors have black trim so it matches pretty well!
