Obviously, people love the look or hate the look. To me, it reminds me of a stealth aircraft, because that's the way they're painted up (B2 or F-117). It definitely catches your eye when it rolls up next to you.
There is a black Chrysler 300 that is "stealth" painted that frequents the business next to ours here. I always try to check it out.

Shoot, no Nav? What a shame-such a cool looking TL. But the grill, tails and side markers need to be darkened.

Completely agree. I love the matte paint look, but it was VERY poorly done on this TL.

Flat Black may have flown better if he went A-Spec imo.
Like others have said... need other things to complete the look.
Tints, new grille, black'd headlights, drop, darker rims, perhaps some lightly smoked Type-S tails.

really? pretty sure I've seen MUCH more expensive cars get the flat black treatment, the TL is chump change compared to the merc's, lambos, ferraris that I've seen do this.
