First Service Of my TL
Hi All: I just wanted to share a story about the first service that was done today (2-11-06).
I arrived after a 2.5 hour drive to the Acura Of Lynnwood dealership I purchased my 05 SSM/Q/Navi for it's first oil change since delivery (11-20-2004) with the odometer reading 4,527 miles.
Anyway my wife and I arrived and were greeted on the spot, the knew that I wanted an oil change and to check all fluid levels.
We were then wisked off to the local shopping mall for some power shopping and lunch.
A couple of hours later we then called them and within warp speed, there was the shuttle driver to wisk us back to pickup my baby.
After reviewing the work that was performed, I stood there a looked again at the invoice and noticed that the technition had test drove the car and the performed a 4 wheel tire balance and aligned the car because it was drifting to the left slightly. I had not noticed either of these issues, but he did !. Not to mention ther WAS NO CHARGE for the 4 wheel balance and car alignment ! These are the studded tires and ADR alloy wheels I use for winter driving purchased at Les Schwab Tire Center.
I have seen allot of you guy's complaining about how you got screwed by an Acura dealerships service department, not me this is a great confidence builder for those lucky enough to have a dealer like Acura Of Lynnwood in WA state. Well worth the drive for purchasing and servicing.

Re: First Service
Hi All: I also forgot to tell you that automatically did a 26 point inspection.
Acura Of Lynnwood did all of this without anything said at time of drop off.
I only wish that the local Honda dealer that services my wifes 05 Odyssey EX-L Redrock/Ivory would be this much on the ball .
I guess that's the difference between them and Acura, and that's why I'll drive 2.5 hours for my baby's service work !, not to mention it gives me a chance to REALLY drive the TL somewhat hard through a twistie 4,100' mountain pass, what a rush ! .
