first 150 miles report and questions
everything is either terrific or better!
except for few things
1) visibility
to many things get in the way
A-pillars are way too fat, rear view feels too tight
2) the glove box is a joke!
3) but the worst thing is rims
whoever thought that the narrow tires are suitable for wide rims
had no clue that the fella responsible for rims design didn't intend them to be used at all
as a result a couple of layers of fragile paint is all that stands between the wheels and curbs
sure enough as soon as on the second day of driving half of the outer edge on one of my rims looks like crap from getting too close to a curb on a tight parking lot
there is a damn reason why i wanted wider tires!
oh well :shakehead
do any of you fine gents know how to minimize the effect of scratched rims?
some technique to smooth it out or polish or something
for now i just sanded it slightly with fine sand paper to get rid of the sharp junks on the edge
and just for future, which 17" rims would you recommend to get instead of the stock ones
so they can withstand a bit more abuse without showing the cosmetic damage so quickly?

Thanks for the review...
EL42s have no rim protection... get another tyres in the future...
Yah, the visibility isn't that well, but it's ok to me.
Glovebox? You meant the rattle is noisy or the space is useless...

noo
i meant the size of that poor thing
after putting a manula in it i was only able fit a tiny little knobby looking screwdriver and a dial tire gauge - that's it!
i remember the A4's glove box, which looked like you can fit a suit-case into it
by the way
if i go with the different rims would mashined be better than painted
doesn't it mean that they are simply polished and scratches wouldn't reveal the "core" material of a different color like it happens on the stocks?
