Firewall Question

Where is the firewall located on our TLs? I see a little flap thing near the back behind the pedals, but its metal behind it? Is there a need to drill a hole there? I have AT. Thanks!

The TL firewall is in the same location as nearly all automobiles made everywhere... between the from of the cabin and the rear of the engine bay.

the firewall is the sheet of metal that separates the engine from the passenger compartment and is the same for all vehicles. yep, if you plan to run a wire you can drill, however look inside from teh engine side . . . you may find a grommet or other wiring harness snaking through.
