Finding the right TL-S...auto
Let me know what you guys think about these TYPE-S I found. I am under a budget of 25k and under, For what I know, w/ the asking price, maybe I can talk them down under 1-2k or have them pay for tax/fee instead. A lil about myself is that I currently drive a 328 coupe 2000 for 4 years and not feeling great about the 2 doors specially having a family later on in life so I would like something else for the long run (4-5 years) if not more. Also do you guys think the price will adjust after the year is over? I know TL-S holds its value no matter what.

Try to not purchase a "SOLD AS IS" with no warranty. Either the car has been in a wreck and/or not been taking carefully or the car has a Salvage/Flood title.
I'd recommend you find a trusted dealer with warranty (CPO if you can). I'd keep looking until you find everything you want in a vehicle which is warranty, color, etc...
Don't rush yourself, I did that and I missed out on my color (even though I love NBP but wanted KBP), navigation, and the car had some minor defects which I could've used to lower the price, but I was eagar to have the TL that I didn't care.

yea take your time. i would spend a little extra money and try and get a cpo. At least for me it gave me piece of mind to a certain extent. And one thing that i learned and worked for me was to use dealers against each other. go and look at one car that you like and get the dealer as low as he will possibly go and then ask for that price in writing. Take that to a nearby dealership with a car that meets the same specs and ask them to beat it. That got me an extra grand off my car.
and on a side note....link 2 & 3 are the same car...

When you see the "sold as is, no warranty" sticker on a used car at a dealership, it just means that the dealer is not including an additional warranty on the car at the advertised price. If the car has any of the original factory warranty remaining (I believe 4 yr/50k miles), it is still covered. Shouldn't be an issue for the majority of 07/08 TL's out there, unless something has happened to the car that has voided the warranty.
Of the options listed, I would go for number 1 (newest car/lowest miles within your budget), unless you're stuck on a specific color combination.
