Finally I am one of you guys! (NBP)

Finally found the one i wanted and purchased it yesterday morning. Its an 06 NBP on parchment w/ nav and 18,8xx miles for $26k through a private sale. I started off looking for only wdp w/ ebony or parchment in august and finally settled for this nbp beauty. Unfortunately its the hardest to keep clean both inside and outside with this color combo, but hot damn its a sexy looking car. Already drove like 75 miles today

I am loving this car more and more......except i just realized the cd player isnt working. It loads the cd, then it will play a few seconds, skip, play a few seconds, skip etc. It does it to all the cd's ive loaded. Anyone know what this problem is? Otherwise im just gonna have to bring it into the dealer to get it looked at.

Oh yeah, pics will be up soon, even though they are stock

Congratulations on the purchase and welcome to the forums!

I see you went on the dark side (NBP). There is a huge, everlasting war between NBP'ers and WDP'ers! NBP'er's will be glad you went to their side!

congratz on the car ... as for the cd player, your car should still be under the factor warranty, so im pretty sure they will take care of it at no charge to you

Congrats and welcome

I'm just sorry to hear that you chose NBP

As far as your CD player problem, isnt there a feature that scans through all the tracks only playing them for a few seconds?

I am with the darkside. Just drove another 115ish miles today and still loving every second of it. How the lights look inside and outside, how the nav and center dash looks so clean, how the engine sounds when i start it up, how when i semi-floor it, it plants my butt into the seat.

I was hoping to fix it without having to go through the hassle of taking it to the dealer but i guess thats the only option. As for the scan feature, i dont think its scanning, cuz its not skipping tracks or anything...its always skipping on the same song

Welcome to the darkside. You made the right choice! Take it to the dealer and your cd player will be good as new. We all know what it looks like anyway, nevertheless, post some pics of your new family member!

His kids were all grown, about somewhere between 19-24. So unless one of them was mentally challenged, i dont think they were slipping coins into the cd tray haha

is it skipping to another song? It might be the "scan" feature of the cd changer [i think that's a feature isn't it?]

Try one of those CD cleaning discs that have a small brush on them to clean the lens..
