Finally got my rear bumper replaced.

I got my rear bumper replaced today. Here is my previous post about what happen.

http://www.acura-tl.com/forums/showthread.php?t=95527

The VIN number sticker is still on my bumper and it's the VIN from the other TL. I think it's a 05 TL bumper. How can I tell by the VIN if it's a 05?

The dealer is Valley Stream. They did replace my bumper instead of repainting it, but they have the worst service and I will never go back there.

The first time I went there, the time when they damaged my bumper, they had put the Valley Stream license plate frame on my car.
Today when I went there I specifically told them not to put the license plate frame on my car and they put it on anyway. This is the first dealer that I know of that does this. It's ridiculous.

When I went to pick up my car, the driver side of the rear bumper was not aligned perfectly. It was just a little off. My gf didn't even notice it. I just wanted to get my car and get out of there. So when I got home, I loosen the screw and had my gf push the bumper in while I tighten the screw. Now it's aligned.

I did get a TSX as a loaner. The TSX has pretty good power for a 4 cylinder. It almost felt like a V6.

The dealer did try their best to make things right. But this shouldn't even happen in the first place. I will never go back there.

I thought they could provide the decent services. Sorry to know this.

At least, you got the new bumper back though.

I think Rallye has much better service. But when I get service done, i'm only going to NJ dealers.
When I got there yesterday I spoke to another service advisor. I told her what happen and she asked the service advisor that agreed to swap a new bumper, and he didn't sound too happy about it. At first I thought he was gonna lie and say he never agreed to it.

Yea, at least I got a new bumper.
