If you really want the wood grain, make them give you a NEW car. The idea of having a brand new car torn apart to replace something that should have been caught by "quality control" is absurd. Let them replace it and sell it to some other idiot. You purchased a NEW car, and as such, it should be correct from the factory. DO NOT let them tear apart the dash to replace the trim...it's a new car for christ sakes. Acura's quality control sucks, and they should have to "eat" this car or sell it to someone who doesn't care. Stick to your guns and don't give in. I'd fight this to the end if I wanted the wood trim...no way would I accept a car that's been torn apart to fix something that the factory screwed up!!!!!
