Face Wash Option - Bonus
WOW.... had a good laugh today.
Just joined the Acura family with my 04 TL and loving it!
One feature the salesman never mentioned to me was the 'Facewash' feature.
Was just sitting at a red light on a calm morning with the sunroof open, engaged the windshield washer and BAM!!! Right in the kisser.....lol
Great gimmick for getting your bud in the passenger seat!!!!
I wouldn't advise it with a date next to you however.
Thought I would share my funny experience, and can't wait to get the wife!!!!! hehe

800 miles, and all with smiles.

My 1999 Toyota Solara and now departed 1993 Toyota Camry had this "feature" too!
It only took one or two spritzes to remind me to either wash the windshield with the moonroof closed or to do so at speed.
Enjoy your new TL! I'm looking forward to getting mine next week!!

This is a problem inherent to washer jets that are affixed to the car body. Cars with the jets in the wiper arms don't suffer from this problem.
I've gotten used to just using my wipers at speed. It's certainly not a big problem.

You know what I found out yesterday which was pretty interesting? That the intermittent settings on the wipers are variable. What I mean is, depending on the speed you're driving at, they change - the "quickest" setting I thought was pretty slow sitting at a light, but then I started driving and the pace of the wipe increased a lot. Pretty neat little feature in my opinion.
