exterior question

does anyone know what the hole about a few inches above the vent under the front right headlight is for? i know BMW and Benzs are to jack up the car, but the TL only has one on the front. any one know?

it's for if you get stuck. they attach a cable and pull you out. the S2000 has them too

The piece is easily removed with a key and if you don't want to scratch, try covering it with tissue you paper or your t-shirt. There is a screw in hook provided in your tow kit.

Read your owner's manual for gosh sakes!

If you look on top of your spare tire, there is a round hook that you can screw in the front bumper hole. That plastic lid is easily removable with your fingernail (it hangs as it's attached)...

there is another hook in the rear center, under the bumper...

In case you get stuck in the sand/or mud, somebody can hook up a winch and pull you straight out without damaging your bumpers!
