Experience w/ Acura Buy Back?

This is a follow up to my previous post regarding my paint problems on my anthracite 5AT TL. The car has returned from the shop and the paint job is still horrible. This was the third attempt, and it appears that seeing the lemon law in Florida now says that i can ask for my money back or another car. I have spoke w/ a buddy who's in the industry and he said they will try to do whatever is possible to avoid a car with a lemon title, so they may try to put me in another car. Has any one ever had this happen? Should I maybe post the in the 2G section?

yeah i have never heard of a lemon law case for paint. if you had a trans crap out three times i could see it going ll. i would check floridas lemon laws to see if it is covered by the law. take it back to the dealer and have it sent to a different body shop.

Personally, I would do whatever is required to get your car replaced. I would write the BBB., I would call, email or write to any of the TV/Newspaper help reporters, and make Acura realize that they don't need the bad publicity. I would also call and write to any and all legal reps for the State of Florida that can get Acura of off their ass.

Acura will do anything they can in order to NOT replace your vehicle. Don't expect to talk to them and have them capitulate and say " We're wrong, we'll arrange for a new vehicle" AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN!

If they can make you GO AWAY they will.
