ExoticWoodDash.com -- any customer service probs?

I ordered a wood trim kit about a week ago from ExoticWoodDash.com with every indication on their website the item was in stock. They successfully charged my credit card, thought I am still waiting for the product to arrive. That's all fine, but what really bugs me is the fact I've sent two emails politely inquiring as to when my item is expected to ship. They haven't returned my emails.

Has anyone had good/bad experiences with them?

(I know I can always pick up the phone, but that's so primitive....but probably more effective...)

My guess is that exoticwooddash.com is a small business and probably run with limited staff and public relations or customer service isn't necessarily at the top of their priority list. I've found when dealing with these smaller companies that they'll ship the product when they can or have it in stock (maybe their site said in stock but it really wasn't) and they rarely will reply back to emails sent to some general "mail@exoticwooddash.com" address.

Just be patient....if 30 days goes by and you still don't have the product, then I would call them up.

THanks. You are probably correct. I'm just impatient cuz I wanna spruce up my brand new TL with just a tasteful (and limited!) splash of wood...

If it makes you feel any better, I purchased a new racing radio at racingelectronics.com and it took them 7 days from the time to get my order to ship it and I sent them an email that they never replied to. I just ended up being patient after that I and I ended up getting it. Sucks, but what else are you going to do?

Good luck with the installation and post pics when you're done!!

I got my wood dash kit in under one week. Maybe it is out of stock and waiting for kits. I even called customer service about the install and they were very courteous, no wait time.

My experience with exoticwooddash.com

My advice, be patient. The customer service response was excellent for me. I had two pieces come damaged in my kit, they sent new pieces out without receiving the bad ones back. It took about ten days to get it originally and the same for the replacement pieces. I am sure you will get your kit. PM me if you would like additional details.
