exact symptoms of tire problem
I am new to the world of quality cars. Can someone please explain the symptoms of the tire problem I should be looking for? I understand the concept of flatspotting now but I am not sure how to feel the problem. If I have it should it be incredibly obvious.
Many thanks in advance.

When you get on the road for the first time that day, and reach a speed over 50mph, you would feel a vibration both in the seat of your pants and the steering wheel. Mine is most noticeable in the 55-65mph zone. As the tire warms up, about 5 miles depending on temperature, this will go away, and usually will not be felt again until the following day.
Many people don't have this problem, so don't try and create one where none exists.
Remember, this is different from the 55-60mph vibration felt in 5th gear at 1500rpm, which is more subtle and doesn't go away.
