A European Style Plate on a 2004 TL?

Hi everybody. New to Acurazine!

I was just wondering if anyone had ever tried to install a european style license plate on the front of a third generation TL. If so, how did it look and was it difficult to do?

will not look good... and does not make sense since the TL isn't sold or marketed in Europe...

Plus the space available between the lower vents is too short and the bumper is angled in that area instead flat...

I guess you're right about there not really being a sufficient amount of space to mount such a plate. Truthfully, it probably wouldn't look good.

As for it not making sense though, I think it makes okay sense. A car doesn't have to be marketed in Europe to have a European-style plate (without the stickers of course). I've just always kind of liked the look.

Thanks for the quick response.

I think it would look good if you could mount it in one of the vent areas.

Of course, then you have to worry about airflow issues.

A few people have had their TL's in Europe (two in Italy, one in Eastern Europe somewhere). I think only one of them posts any more...military guy...RJAnanconda?

Friss04TL,

I'll sit tight and wait a few days. Good luck with the installation.
